Emma Parsmo, as a designer and creator, is both sensitive to trends and contemporary challenges.

In the running of her own company in design, handcrafts and sustainability she has embraced the title of product- and graphic designer, concept developer and communicator.

​

Master in Design and Art, 2021 Linnaeus University.

Fem2design

The company Fem2design takes a hands-on approach to sustainability through different methods of craft-based product design, working with rescued materials and a reuse-mentality. They design handmade products for a more sustainable everyday life and offers workshops that highlight the connection between design, craftsmanship and sustainability.

Spill Collection

The project and brand Spill is a collaboration between two design studios and local actors within the hotel industry. Spill is designed as a circular system and promotes the principles of circular design through craftsmanship. The collection is made from surplus materials, discarded textiles, and food waste from PM & Vänner hotel & restaurant and is sold in their connecting store; Flora.

Bröd

Bread bags designed for the bakery PM Bröd & Sovel, made from recycled cotton sheets. They offer the customer a sustainable alternative to single-use bags and help keep the bread fresh for longer. A minimalist design where the baked goods takes center stage.
